保利国际广场位于故宫和首都机场之间，在临近首都机场高速的新建商务区里占据着优越的位置。项目场地由主楼和两栋规模小些的配楼组成。三栋大厦的椭圆形基底轮廓跳脱了毗邻的城市肌理的刚性几何形状，让周围的公园景观与项目场地水乳交融。园林绿化覆盖了车库坡道和疏散楼梯，最大限度地减少了它们的视觉影响，同时还构建出宁静、随地形起伏的步行道。

主楼的外观设计受中国纸灯笼启发，在构成图案的连续斜肋框架上安装宝石切割面造型的玻璃幕墙，让立面上天空浮映，日辉闪烁。外骨架结构体系形成外层保温墙体，内层玻璃墙体之内才是办公空间。这一设计提供了自然光照的公共区域，可用于会议和社交互动，同时也构成楼层之间的空间和视觉联系。大跨度的结构设计，不仅提供广阔的内部空间，可营造无柱工作环境，而且还采用了具有高度可持续性的建筑/暖通方法来应对北京特有的气候和空气质量的挑战。
