Senior Associate Principal - Interiors Lead
Carlos Madrid III approaches the design of buildings, spaces and objects with a focus on improving the human experience. His award-winning design contributions have been consistently recognized for their rational yet provocative approach.
Carlos’s work is diverse in scale, scope and location. His recent accomplishments include a 150,000-square-foot tech office for The Trade Desk in New York City, and multiple projects in Los Angeles for Loyola Marymount University (LMU), including a ground-up academic building for the School of Film and Television and an outdoor theater for the School of Communication and Fine Arts.
Currently he is working on the interiors of the Bechtel Engineering Center at the University of California, Berkeley; phase three of an urban lighting and furniture collection with Neri, an Italian lighting manufacturer; and a new bus stop system for the City of Los Angeles.
